Photography Pregnancy

Two Weeks! Well technically one week and five days until my due date, but who is counting. Heartedited I can't believe that we will soon have a baby girl in our arms. Time has gone by so fast! I simply can't wait to meet this little munchkin. I am not sure who is more excited, me, Emma, or Jake. Any time Emma sees something for the baby, she get super excited and exclaims "for baby sister! Oh, if only I can learn patience hahaha! To celebrate the baby coming, we decided to have a mini photo shoot. I love that my husband is so talented and was able to take the pictures for us. And the baby is a GIRL! babygirl.jpg babygirl.jpg - Version 2 Last week I went to the doctors for my ultrasound appointment. This has to be be my absolute favorite doctor appointments that I have to go to. I have been counting down for this day for weeks! It was so fun seeing our little munchkin moving around, kicking, and wiggling her fingers. Jake wasn't able to be there which was a bummer (hopefully we will have more exciting news soon!). So I had the technician write if it was a boy or a girl on one of the pictures so that we could find out together. I must admit this whole time we had been thinking that we were going to have a little boy. This pregnancy has been different then with Emma's, so when we opened up the envelope we were shocked and excited to find out it was a girl. I can hardly wait! I get to have another amazing little girl to play with all the time. Emma is going to think we gave her a life size doll to dress up lol! This little munchkin of ours doesn't know it yet, but she is going to have the best big sister ever! IMG_3506   Emma is slowly, I think, starting to realize that she is going to be a big sister. At least she loves to poke my belly and laughs when I say there is a baby in there. Of course she could just think that her Mom is one silly goose for saying there is something growing in her tummy hahahah.   IMG_3517   We can hardly wait to meet this little girl of ours. Now the fun begins as we try to think of what to name her. Luckily we can agree on girl names a lot easier then boy. So far we love the names Elizabeth, Bailee, and Abigail just to name a few. We actually have a list of like ten names that we really like but nothing for sure. It will be fun to see what name wins out. So if you have any other amazing girl names feel free to throw them out there.   IMG_3466   Emma had so much fun taking these gender reveal photos. She kept asking "again please" What little girl wouldn't love to dance around in falling balloons and petals. Luckily for us we had an amazing friend come and take some photos for us so that Emma could play in the balloons a couple of times. Meredith you are the best!

Photography Pregnancy

Ah, I can't believe that I am officially under two weeks until my due date. It is amazing how quickly time has gone by. This next weeks is to for sure go by pretty quick with all that I have planned. Here is what is going on...
On tuesday My Mother-in-Law and a good friend is throwing me a baby shower. It sounds like it is going to be so much fun and is going to be full of yummy food. I am pretty excited.
Then on thursday I get to go to my next doctors appointment. (Weird how I usually dread going to the doctors, but with the baby doctor I am just excited) After that I am going to go to the temple. I absolutely love going to the Sacramento temple. It is so gorgeous and I just love the spirit that is there at every temple.
Then on Friday I might be going to a BYU-Idaho Sinfonietta. (Who would of thought that BYU-Idaho students would have followed me all the way to California!)
Finally on Saturday is our Branch Picnic.
Lets just say I am going to have a crazy week. Hopefully it will keep me busy so that I don't go to crazy waiting for this little one to come. I am so excited to meet her. I still can't believe that the time is almost here.
So last week Ben, Lonie, and Riley came out for Easter. It was so much fun watching Riley get so excited for the Easter Bunny. It makes me look forward to when our little girl is here and Jake and I can start traditions with her.  Anyways, while they were here for the weekend Ben was able to take some pictures of me and Jake. I think they turned out pretty good. Gotta love  having a Brother-in-Law who is amazing at photography! Here are some of the amazing pictures that he took.

Family Pregnancy

Today I am officially two weeks and four days away from my due date. It is crazy to think that technically I can have this little girl any time now. Although I have a feeling that she is going to take her time coming into this world. With the Nielsen/ Honsvick stubborn streak running through her who could expect less :) All I know is Jake and I can't wait to finally meet her and hold her. I keep going into her room trying to think of something else I can do to get it ready. But with the clothes washed, bed made, changing table set, and everything in its place, I am running out of things to do. Luckily between the cross stitch I am doing for her and other events coming up, I will definitely be keeping busy.

(Halloween Ward Party 14 1/2 weeks along)

How I went from this (picture above) to this (picture bellow) in such a short amount of time is pretty crazy. I pretty much looked like the picture above until after Christmas, then my child decided that it was about to to make sure the world knew that I was pregnant :) But I have to admit, I have pretty much loved every minute of my pregnancy. Feeling her move around is just about the neatest experience ever. Now if only I can talk to her about not kicking Jake all night and keeping him awake ;) Luckily he is too excited to be a Dad that he doesn't mind. And what is also exciting is I will be able to see both sides of my family not to long after my little girl is born. So excited! I just love life.

Life as I know it.

DIY Pregnancy School

So this past month has actually gone by pretty fast. For a couple of weeks I went on a crafting craze. I was constantly working on one project or another for our little girl. So far I have made a lamp, a mobile, and a huge wooden sign. It is crazy to see how productive you can be when you actually have time to spare. Now I am just working on making sure that I have everything ready for when our little one comes. Now if only we can decide on a name for her :) oh well we still have nine weeks. Yikes! can you believe it, I only have nine more weeks left to go. Nine months really does go by so fast, next thing I know she will be here! Life is truly good. Here are a couple of pictures of the lamp and mobile. I haven't yet taken a picture of the wooden sign yet. I can't wait to finally decorate my little girls room...

Oh and for some more exciting news, Jake has been accepted to two Grad schools already. We are officially accepted into UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara. Now we are waiting to hear back form a few more schools before we make our final decision. It is just so exciting to know that he has been accepted. It is actually pretty funny how often we check his email just hoping that another email has come in. Soon we will know exactly what we are going to do for school. Only a few more weeks of uncertainty.
